GYMPIE BRAHMAN FEMALE SALE 2009

This years Gympie Brahman Female Sale saw strong buyer interest in the Brahrock draft, with the 21 Lot family outfit scoring a $4100 average for the draft. Securing the sale's top priced lot has a consortum consisting of Brett Nobbs of Nobbs Cattle Co and Mary Lewis, who paid $20,000 for lot 73 Brahrock Miss Bos Empress 3852 a Boswick daughter out of a Datapack cow going back to Brahrock Miss Empress 1412. Goomeri breeder Caleb Weis of Besanther Vale Stud paid $7,000 for Lot 19 Brahrock Miss EB Empress 3670, an Ebenezer daughter out of a Madison Cow. EB Empress is 6 months in calf to JDH Sir Luigi Manso. Brahrock Brahmans would like to thank all buyers and underbidders for their continued support of our draft. |

Brahrock supports Movember Foundation

Recently seen at the 2008 Wilangi Sale, Neville sported a substantial facial growth in support of the Movember Foundation. Through generous donations to date, Brahrock has raised over $500 for the charity. These donations will be used by the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and beyondblue: the national depression initative to fund research and provide support for men suffering from prostate cancer and depression.
